Elaborate process for long-lasting surface protection

The right surface treatment is the basis for durable, long-lasting surface protection. The components pass through the process stages of priming and painting fully automatically:

In the individual immersion tanks (13 in number) the crane parts are degreased, washed, activated, coated with zinc phosphate, washed again, de-activated and after rinsing with ultra-clean water they then undergo the electrostatic KTL coating process

The four stage marine paint finish:

1)		All steel components are grit blasted to standard SA 2.5
2)		KTLprocess – min. 40 µm
3)		Intermediate layer – min. 110 µm
4)		Finish coat – min. 60 µm
