Overview

To address the noise and emissions problems caused by diesel generators, Watts & Hughes installed a CP300.

The unit was configured to draw only 16A and connected to one of the site power distribution boards, providing power for both the Potain MCR 295 luffing tower crane and the personnel hoist.

The CP300 has helped improve relations with neighboring residents by reducing noise and emissions, and improved productivity and reduced downtime on-site by supplying reliable and efficient power to the on-site equipment.

Operational costs have also reduced by eliminating the need for two diesel generators, which also reduced their carbon footprint by over 185t annually.
