Our history

For the last decade the Cranepower team has worked in the field of high-tech power generation and distribution.  Passionate about transforming the future of power supply and generation, we’ve worked with some of New Zealand’s leading innovation companies to transform their remote power needs.

We have a track record of providing innovative UPS solutions in critical situations, ranging from constructing numerous whole-site UPS systems for a healthcare provider to designing and installing hundreds of railcar UPS for a transportation company, and collaborating with RocketLab, a space exploration company, to develop an off-grid, solar-powered UPS system to power their launch facility in Mahia.

Cranepower is proud to be part of New Zealand’s long history of innovation and boundary-breaking invention. We’re headquartered in Auckland, but we work with partners around the world. Our founder and leadership team are Kiwis, and we’re 100% New Zealand owned and operated.
